history!
We had a
ball making new friends and catching up with old ones.

Our Annual IMEN Gathering was held
at Camp Ramblewood in Northern Maryland for eight days this past July.
Nearly 200 of our Naturist "brothers" came from all over the world to join
in for a week of naked camaraderie and fun. Camp Ramblewood, located in
a park-like setting in the rolling hills of northern Maryland,
accommodates 450 campers. Along with group cabins for housing, there is
a spacious dining hall situated on a hillside in the center of the camp
overlooking two swimming pools. In addition to the open air pavilion,
there is a large recreation hall, a dining hall, and many meeting
facilities throughout the grounds. Camp Ramblewood provides the
ultimate atmosphere for the best in outdoor adventure, fun, and
camaraderie. There are also several volleyball and tennis courts, as
well as nature trails and a large campfire "socializing" area.

All
gathering attendees bunk in group
cabins (with electricity, indoor plumbing, hot showers, and ceiling
fans), scattered
throughout the hilly woodland. Those who wish to
camp may do so in their own tent or RV (no hook-ups). Beginning
with an evening dinner buffet on the day of your arrival and ending with
breakfast on your last morning, you will be served three meals a day
(with an alternate selection for vegetarians), prepared by a
professional chef and a friendly kitchen staff. In addition, all beverages
(coffee, water, juice, soda, beer and wine) are provided. |

After your arrival at camp, you need not
worry about a thing other than deciding which activities and workshops
to participate
in. Just remove your worldly cares along with your clothes and
enjoy the week. Almost everything you need for a fun-filled,
totally nude vacation is provided. You will, of course, need to bring
your toiletries and your bedding. (All the beds are twin
size.) The only thing not covered in the registration fee for
this all-inclusive week are any purchases that you may wish to make at the crafts fair, so be sure to bring spending money
for these items. |

The
Gathering includes many special activities and workshops such as body
painting, oil wrestling, tug-of-war, bingo, a talent show, various contests,
a crafts fair, an erotic food workshop, massage classes, cooking
classes, and aerobics. Other events offered include the Mr. IMEN
Contest, The IMIZ Contest (for those guys who want to express a little
of their drag side), a talent show, after-dinner movies, nightly
disco dancing, square dancing, and the
traditional midnight campfire.

The ever-popular cocktail hour theme
parties are always a riot with the guys donning their (optional)
costumes. The fun is in creating a costume that, when you
wear it, still allows you to be naked. As always, the guys rise
to the challenge! Whether you decide to wear a costume to all or none
of the nightly cocktail parties, you'll no doubt enjoy the camaraderie,
socializing, and laughter that takes place in the open air pavilion during
these wonderful parties. |

Registration
for the Gathering is
limited to 450 participants. We hope that you will join us for
this truly wonderful and unique event. It is bound to
be the
highlight of your summer!

AIRPORT & TRAIN TRANSPORTATION
Transportation services will again be available for
those who are traveling to the Gathering by plane or train.. Baltimore
Washington International Airport is about a one hour ride from camp
and Amtrak's Aberdeen Station is a 15 minute ride. Amtrak provides
excellent service to Aberdeen, Maryland as does MARC, the Maryland
commuter rail. IMEN will be offering pick up and drop off service at
both locations.
There is transportation
available on Sunday July 12th to camp and on Sunday
July 19th back to the train station and airport. Pick
up at BWI will be at 2PM (at the latest) and pick
up at Aberdeen Station is at 4:30 PM (at the latest).
Drop off on Sunday July 19th at Aberdeen Station
will be at 9:15 AM and BWI will be at 12 PM.
GROUP CABIN ASSIGNMENTS
Please remember to request your group reservation as
early as possible to assure your cabin assignment for your group.
NEW EVENTS
If you have an idea for a new event please send that
idea in. We will do everything we can to try it out at the gathering.
Most of what is scheduled at the gathering is done by trial and error.
Last year some one suggested the giant twister game. We made the board
and tried it out. The crowd loved it!
